24 February 2018

From Saturday 24 February, Museum TwentseWelle in Enschede, the Netherlands, will be all about the future filled with artificial intelligence, augmented reality and virtual reality. Scientists predict that technology will dominate people in all fields in 2060. How will that affect our lives as humans? What makes us human? Will robots be better versions of ourselves?

Together with Rijksmuseum Boerhaave in Leiden, TwentseWelle has been working for more than two years on a series of exhibitions and activities to commemorate the fact that Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein, or the Modern Prometeus in 1818, exactly 200 years ago.
